Sr. Saima stands as a dedicated community leader, tirelessly working to empower and uplift the community to reach its full potential. In addition to her impactful role in community outreach, Sr. Saima is a talented artist, infusing her creativity and passion into her work. The unique combination of her community leadership and artistic talents sets her apart, making her exceptionally skilled at what she does.
Sr. Sumaiya Rehman is a full-time student at Seton Hall University. She is pursuing a Bachelors in Business and is on a pre-law track to the Seton Hall Law School. Sumaiya is the President of the Muslim Students Association at SHU. During her time in the MSA, she has led multiple initiatives, such as better food in the Halal section of the dining hall, increasing professional opportunities for Muslim students through events, and allocating for a bigger prayer room for the long-term. She is also Public Relations Chair for the Minority Pre-Law Society and is a Martin Luther King Scholar of SHU. As an Education Committee Intern, Sumaiya aims to be of guidance and mentorship to students who want to gain perspective and guidance on their future careers from a Muslim student perspective.
Sr. Aleen Riaz, a Law and Technology student at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, is passionate about advocating for the Muslim community. As the founder of the Muslim Student Association (MSA) at Watchung Hills Regional High School, she created a safe space for meaningful conversations and social media engagement. Aleen's dedication to community connection and education shines through her work, inspiring others to speak up and take action.
